One can’t be crazy all the time

The sun is shining.

Sharp spring sunlight, mercilessly revealing dirty window panes and dusty surfaces.

I’m going out.

Here, the bright light is good. Warming, uplifting.

I feel the will to live. Reborn. The joy of existing.

To meet spring once again. To be there when nature comes to life.

Birds singing. Snowdrops joined by crocuses, violet, yellow. Willow catkins and buds on the lilac.

All the remarkable gifts nature has given us.

Life and death – the ultimate moments of existence.

Darkness recedes. Now is the time of light.
